Meet some of the Crew!

This is one of a guest post series so you can meet some of the crew supporting James on the March to Ottawa.

Meet Dallas Vienneau

Dallas Vienneau was born in Fort Nelson, BC. Since then he has lived in BC, Alberta, and Ontario. The places lived in BC are Fort Nelson, Oliver, Fort St. John, Penticton, Burnaby, and Coquitlam. The places lived in Alberta are Airdrie, Calgary, and Edmonton. He has also lived in Ottawa, Ontario. Furthermore, he tried his luck finding work, through a two year work/travel visa for Ireland, as he has Irish, Scottish, and French Heritage. His background work experience to date has been, mostly, in the Land Surveying Industry. His jobs, in the oil patch, have required lots of travel throughout Northern BC and Alberta; staying in hotels and camps. Dallas, therefore, likes to refer to himself as the poor man's rockstar. He has worked as a Survey Assistant, Junior Party Chief, Plan Checker and GPS Analyst to date in the Oilfield Sector and as an Instrument man and survey assistant in the Municipal Sector, the latter in Ontario; the former in British Columbia. He has obtained a diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in May of 2004, in Calgary. He is very analytical and detail oriented as reflected by his previous work experience, which has required superb mathematical, planning and organization, problem solving, quality assurance, and communication skills that he believes will translate well to the position of marcher and support vehicle driver.
